Hi David, Sorry to hear that you cannot play some audio files. It is unusual for an audio file to have an extension of .mpeg usually they are mp3. I would suggest to determine the exact type of file that you download a free program call Video Lan Player VLC the download can be found here http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html. This program will allow you to playback most files. If you still have a problem please call us.

Kind Regards

Mike another suggestion you can try is as follows:

A. Run mmc->File->Add/Remove Snap-in->Find "Group Policy Object Editor"->Add->Local machine->Finish->OK.

B. Set the Computer Configuration->Administrative Templates->Windows Components->Windows Update "specify intranet Microsoft update service location" as not configured.

C. Try the update service again.

Work in progress on this one, it would appear that your response from Microsoft was poor.

I have researched some possible fixes and will be in touch shortly, one striking simple suggested solution is to switch user account control back on and I know in your case it's switched off.

Apple have finally announced firmware 3.0 updated software for the iphone today, here are some of the main updates.
Cut & Paste, use pinch action to copy area of text and shake the phone to undo.
Peer to Peer, link two iphones and play multiplayer games.
The ability to embed maps into applications, enabling turn by turn which was unavailable before.
These are some of the 100 or so updates coming! And the all important MMS picture messaging.
