It is unusual for an audio file to have an extension of .mpeg usually they are mp3. I would suggest to determine the exact type of file that you download a free program call Video Lan Player VLC the download can be found here http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html. I have researched some possible fixes and will be in touch shortly, one striking simple suggested solution is to switch user account control back on and I know in your case it's switched off. Apple have finally announced firmware 3.0 updated software for the iphone today, here are some of the main updates.
